The Marine, Sailor, Soldier or Airman overseas cannot do what they do without the strong support of his/her family back in the states. Been on both sides, and it was much harder on myself while my Brother was in country than myself. While I was in country I knew when it was hairy and when it wasn’t, and was confident in myself and my unit we’d pull through. Not knowing what is going on while stateside is the worst, since your imagination is always running, expecting to see the government car pull up to the house at any moment. It’s a huge mental drain on the family back home and my hat’s off to the families who have and continue to sacrifice.
Good keep it up
