What would you do if you won a car? A really great car! Would you travel 200 miles to deliver food to service members who need it? Or maybe drive veterans from their homes to VA hospitals where they’ll get the care they need? Would you deliver formula and diapers to military families across your state? Operation Homefront will do all of those things, and more, if we win a Toyota Sienna in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program.
But we need your help to win. We simply need you to vote for us on Oct. 5.
Operation Homefront Texas (now called Southern Plains – serving Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas) is a finalist in Toyota’s giveaway of 100 cars in 50 days. That means there are two winners a day, and on Saturday, October 5, we could be one of those winners.
How do we win? It’s simple. We need your votes. On Oct. 5from 10 am to 11:59 pm (EDT) cast your vote for Operation Homefront Texas at www.100carsforgood.com . We’ll be one of five non-profit organizations competing on ONE DAY ONLY. We need to receive the highest amount of votes from the public to win the top prize: A Toyota Sienna mini-van.
Help us support military families by spreading the word and casting your vote!
While the contest mentions only Operation Homefront Texas, the field office has expanded to include Oklahoma and Arkansas, now known as Operation Homefront Southern Plains. So the offices have a lot more ground to cover. We will be able to drive from San Antonio to Houston with food or baby items and deliver them to military service members. We will be able to drive volunteers to distant sites so they can help our wounded warriors and their families. We will be able to run our programs like Star-Spangled Babies, Holiday Meals for the Military, and the Holiday Toy Drive much more efficiently. With this mini-van, we will be able to expand across the region and bring our military families their desperately needed resources.
So please, tell a friend (or three), and vote for Operation Homefront Texas on October 5. You will definitely help us do more good things for more good people, and we will be able to reach as many service members and their families as possible.
So remember, on Oct. 5 – VOTE HERE.
